Alton College, GU34 2LX
All the usual punters and most of the usual breweries turned up on this
cold and miserable day. PV ended up drinking with Mike and tried to avoid
letting the brewer choose any beers.
The new organisers stuck with the pull your own pint bar – Legg’s Inn -
with the added attraction of two craft beers to pour as well as the 5
handpumps. Graham Trott was supervising and collecting the tickets.
PV was persuaded to try the craft Brewdog Vagabond Pale and, although it
was considerably weaker than their usual output, it was still a taste too
far for him and he ditched some of it in the bucket.
The rest of the card was enjoyed if largely unexceptional with only the
Twickenham Black Eel really floating PV’s boat.
Then it was off down the Railway Arms to meet MG and FN for a couple before
heading back to Aldershot.
