Date: 15 September 2010 If it worked, why not try it again

Sampled by:

TM, KOC, ROC, FN and PV, with a visit from RN

As the trip last week provided the last knockings at The Eight Bells beer festival we thought we would try the same trick again at The White Hart.

Well, we were not wrong – there were four beers left on in the bar from the weekend’s beer festival. Ali was just disappointed we had not turned up on Tuesday to finish off the beer. The outside stillage had been dismantled earlier in the day and the remains of a few barrels just tipped away. As it was, they still had two stars of the festival - the Dark Star American Pale Ale and Holden’s Wharfinger, both of which went down very well.

It only goes to show, beer is a matter of individual taste. PV, remembering the vomit inducing Good Ship Arabella, thought the Mill Green Loveleys Fair was imbued with a similar taste, whereas our man from the North thought it lived up to its name. Stout hearted FN just avoided it and stuck to the dark stuff.
