Comment | | This Ember Inn was as popular as ever, but not with us as there were no guests on. Most tried the Fuller’s London Pride, which was fine, plus one taker for the Courage Best, which was not. Disappointed, to cheer ourselves up, we discussed our forthcoming trip to Munich.

Comment | | Peter was keeping up appearances with an excellent selection of beers and barmaids. The friendly atmosphere became even more affable when a couple of fit women turned up; one displaying a nice bare midriff but, unfortunately, on turning, did resemble the rear of a public service vehicle. Returning our attention to the beer, it seems the Welsh were in town with both Purple Moose and Otley breweries represented. FN thought both had something added but it was just the hop combinations used. However, the undoubted Star was Dark and came in the form of Hophead.

Comment | | This pub/restaurant was well attended this evening. The enjoyment of a very nice pair of thighs was slightly diminished by the crowd of blokes drinking lager. A couple of guests along with the Fuller’s London Pride. The Twickenham Naked Ladies was exceptionally nice but the best thing about the Hidden Pleasure was FN’s admission his went braless, dressed in pink and white, and was called Mrs. Woolgar.
