| Chris was brown nosing his boss who was over from France for a quick conference before heading up to Scotland on holiday. The pub was busy with the punters in for the quiz night. The TT Landlord was near the end of the barrel but the landlord made the mistake of bringing round the last dregs for us to try. Not a wise move as it was sour. | ||

| Jes, the landlady has been running the pub for two years now and has firmly established the dress code for the bar staff – little boots and leggings are de rigueur. You know you are getting old when the landlady is young enough to be your daughter. We eschewed the Fuller’s in favour of the guest. | ||
