You knew the traveler’s were at the pub in force by the Porches, BMW’s and Merc’s filling the car park. The garden was full but we managed to find a bench. The service was slow but at least the barmaid filled the glasses to the top this year. PV was going to try the Doom Bar until informed it was £3.90 a pint. |

As befits the demise of a once great boozer, there were few punters in. In the past the place was full with the Wednesday Quiz night. Obviously this no longer forms part of the plans of the new owner – he is more interested in putting a planning application for an extension for six bedrooms. Beer choice and quality was also down. |
