GOOD INTENT BEER FESTIVAL - 24th May 2008

Travellers

FN, PV (delivered by MV who stayed for one), ROC, KOC, TM, PC and RN

Comment

The second ‘Good Beer In a Tent’ festival again tried their luck by
holding it over the Spring Bank Holiday. This year they did fair
better; the weather was good for most of the weekend but the Monday
turned out to be a complete wash out.
They adopted the same format as the previous year with seven beers
booked to make an appearance in the pub and a further seventeen in
the courtyard tent. The major difference was the price; all beers,
whatever their strength were £3.00 a pint. All the beers tried were
in good condition, even the Fruit Bat.
Ray and Frank were again on bikes with the rest relying on Kevin’s
generosity for transport.

Brewery Beer %
Ballard’s Midhurst Mild 3.4
Twickenham Sundancer 3.7
Skinners Betty Stoggs 4.0
Langham	Hip hop 4.0
Surrey Hills Shere Drop 4.2
Arundel Sussex Gold 4.2
Twickenham Spring Ale 4.3
1684 Signature 4.4
B&T Fruit Bat 4.5

Then it was back to the Garden Gate so Kev could have a few beers and
PV enjoy the Greene King XX Mild.
